…or our interpretation of past experiences and their influence on our state of well-being today. For
thousands of years, palmistry has been used as a healing tool in cultures around the globe. Modern
palmists indicate the lines of the palm do not change. The fact is, they are an iterative reflection of
human process, and constantly change. Also, where the course of past events cannot change, our
interpretation of past experiences and their influence on our current state of well-being can most
certainly shift, leading to deeper fulfillment and satisfaction in life.
Until the recent use of scanning technologies, we have not been able to witness the changes that occur
in the palm as clearly as we can today. Kore Changes, a Toronto-based palmistry consultation company,
uses high-resolution scanning technology to track the changes that occur in the palms of its clients over
time. By scanning the palm at key stages of a person’s life, changes representative of shifts in self-
identity, personal satisfaction, health, and personal boundary-setting can be seen.
palm1In one case, a client determined to actualize a deeper sense of
satisfaction in life was called to address issues in her past. More
specifically, her palm analysis suggested she try to deepen her line of
satisfaction, addressing the issues that prevent her from experiencing
joy, while simultaneously doing more of the things in life that gave
her a sense of satisfaction and fulfillment.
Note in the photo here, the lack of lines leading to the ring finger.
Her palm was also very pale, indicating a lack of energy and a need
for replenishment.
As she developed a genuine appreciation for the positive aspects of her past and sought counsel to
address the painful ones, she began to feel a deeper sense appreciation for experiences of the past and
present. The anchors of remorse, guilt, pain and agitation were no longer her signposts. She related
differently with her past, associating with different memories and events of resilience rather than
defeat.
palm2During her follow-up session 3 years later, her scan revealed a
line of satisfaction deepened and lengthened – extending not
only into her future, but also throughout her past. Her palm
was more vibrant, indicating greater activity and energy
overall. Looking over the table at the scanned images, she was
able to clearly witness the profound effects of her efforts, and
have her hard work validated in a very personal way.
Never doubt the power of self-awareness and choice. While
there are some aspects core to our nature, we are certainly the
author of our journey.
